There are many technological devices in our environment. We use these daily, but have no concept of how they function. Understanding the tools we use is critical for engaging with our environment in an educated way, and learning to produce this technology fosters our innovative ability. For this reason, UWR is creating lesson scripts for robotics units that will be taught in our Science classes from Kindergarten onwards. We are also providing our models schools with the same robotics kits used in the best elementary educational institutions around the world.
With our lessons and these kits, students will learn the basics of engineering and programming early on in their studies. Not only will their knowledge of these topics broaden, but building these robots will enhance the creativity, interactive learning, and inventive principles that are at the core of the UWR teaching methodology. Students will learn to engage with technology in a way that is both educationally enriching and engaging for children.
